Meet Beth Brodsky, PhD, a clinical psychologist in private practice in Manhattan with 20+ years of experience successfully treating people who don’t always feel helped by psychotherapy.
Dr. Brodsky practices Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), a cognitive behavioral therapy developed by Marsha M. Linehan of the University of Washington, who trained Dr. Brodsky to help people regulate emotions, behaviors and cognitions. By recognizing the triggers that cause unhealthy reactions to stressful situations, and then learning coping skills to be used in the moment, Dr. Brodsky’s clients learn to overcome undesired reactions to life’s difficult events.
Listen in as Dr. Brodsky offers help for those who want to better cope with the uncertainty -and the unknown- of the current COVID-19 pandemic.
Healthcare Video Production
If you’re a healthcare professional who wants to share powerful, engaging, thoughtful information in as little as one or two minutes, talk to us about your project.
Expert Voices on Mental Health: Dealing With Uncertainty is just one example of the kind of content ModernEpic can help you produce. If you’re looking for a deeper expression for your story, we invite you to learn more by reviewing our case study, Thrive: Destigmatizing Mental Illness. Here’s what our client has to say about the experience:
“[The producers at] ModernEpic understand the needs of us as education providers and have been flexible enough to script and create interesting communications solutions for every situation we throw at them. Their videos are always very watchable and emotional (truth be told, they have moved me to tears more than once), while still delivering the core learning messages.”
